Hyderabad: In its endeavour towards global association with reputed educational institutions, University of Hyderabad (UoH) through its Study in India Program, (SIP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dartmouth College, Hanover, USA to establish an academic program for students.
The academic program aims at imparting education with focus on contemporary India and is designed to attract Dartmouth College students interested in India in different perspectives such as
religion, history, literature, politics, government, business, film, globalization, health care, gender and women’s studies. The program is scheduled to be held at UoH from winter 2011.
Dartmouth College was established by Royal Charter in 1769 is a member of Ivy League, Dartmouth is an undergraduate residential College with the intellectual character of a university
offering courses in Medical Sciences, Arts, Sciences, Engineering and Business Management Studies. About two-thirds of Dartmouth students are taking part in their 60 foreign–study and exchange programmes.
Dartmouth has been named by the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton asone of the world’s “most enduring institutions” in the year 2004.
