Hyderabad : Sreenidhi International School, Hyderbad based corporate school is hosting All India School IT Competition – IT Akshaya Pratibha 2010-11 (ITAP) in association with Bangalore based VAPS Knowledge Services. The event will be hosted at Hyderabad on October 30 & 31, 2010.
The ‘IT Akshaya Pratibha’ is conducted for two categories – Middle Level for students of 9 to 13 years age group and Senior Level for students in the age group of 13 to 16 years. Sreenidhi International School is hosting the Middle Level Competition at Hyderabad, while the Senior Level competition is powered by Swamynarayan Gurukul School, Bangalore. This is the 8th year of the Competition / Exhibition.
ITAP, which is expected to have more than 2000 students from 120+ schools this year, from all over India, is designed to include a plethora of competitions to match the age group of the participating students. The completion presents students with an opportunity to exhibit their talent in the fields of Quiz, Concept Presentation, Spot programming and Projects.
At ITAP, the students are measured on parameters like personality development, social awareness, learning latest technologies & knowing ground realities of IT & Corporate world. All these parameters are focused in the serene atmosphere with value based samskaras.
ITAP features IT related Competitions, Seminars, Interactive sessions and Cultural events. The Competitions will focus on Quiz, Spot programming, Concept presentation & Project. The topic for the Seminar is one of the following – Pride of India / Chandrayan / Pokharan / Indian Rupee. Leading Technical Giants from Bangalore will organise the Interactive Sessions. All the Competitors participating in this event are the winners & runner-ups in the school level competitions held in their respective regions.
ITAP has gained immense popularity over the years and the number of participating schools is increasing by the year. This event is an apt platform to showcase the talent of students. India is moving towards LPG – Liberalisation, Privatization & Globalisation Atmosphere. The new atmosphere has a buoyancy effect on the younger generation who want to show to the entire world that India is second to none in Science & Technology. The ITAP is a window for such prodigies.
