Hyderabad, March 31: After serving the prestigious University of Hyderabad (known as Hyderabad central university)for a term of more than five years, Prof. Seyed E Hasnain, Vice Chancellor, University of Hyderabad has decided to demit the office on 31st March 2011.
A week ago the Visitor of UoH and President of India, HE Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil had given another extension of three months until end of June 2011, however Prof. Hasnain has decided to accept the invitation from IIT-Delhi to join them as Professor.
In an email sent by Prof. Hasnain to the UoH faculty members, Non-teaching staff and the students he said that he would be joining IIT-Delhi on 1st April 2011.
