Doodle4Google competition 3rd edition | Voting for 45 finalists to select the best
New Delhi, October 27: Global search engine major Google has announced final online voting to select the best Doodle in its third edition of Doodle4Google competition. This year, Google got around 1.5 lakh entries this year and 45 entries stood for final round.
” The 45 finalists have been shortlisted by eminent judges from art and media fraternity, namely, Prasoon Joshi (advertising guru), Nandita Das (award winning film actress) and Ganga Kadakia (renowned artist). Dennis Hwang (the original Google Doodler) and team will be selecting the final winner whose doodle will go live on Google India’s Homepage on 14th November 2011, i.e. Children’s Day,” Google said in press release today.

Last year, Akshay Raj, 9th standard student of St. Aloysius High School, Mangalore, India won the Google4Doodle competition. His theme My Dream for India, canvassed to emphasise the India and its growth both Technically and Naturally.
Final winner for the Doodle4Google competition will be announced on 9th November 2011 in New Delhi and the winning doodle will go live on the Google India homepage to mark Children’s Day on 14th November.
