Hyderabad, 1 July 2013: Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test – APSET 2013 notification released today. APSET was conducted last year over 96,000 candidates have been for appeared for that test. Out of them only 11,000 candidates have qualified. Somany candidates are now waiting for APSET 2013 notification. The notification released and its time to preperation. Candidates have only two months of time to prepare for APSET 2013 as the exam date is 22nd September 2013.
Here is the exam pattern for candidates who wish to appear APSET 2013.
APSET 2013 Question Paper Pattern:
Paper – I: (Out of 60 Questions, 50 to be attempted) — 100 Marks
Paper – II: (50 Questions… all should be attempted) — 100 Marks
Paper – III: (75 Questions… all are compulsory) — 150 Marks
Exam Paper Criteria:
Paper-I: General paper on Teaching and Aptitude:
This paper shall be of general nature intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the
candidate. It will be primarily designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent
thinking and general awareness of the candidate. This paper is multple – choice question paper.
Paper-II: Subject Paper :
This paper consists of multiple- choice questions based on the subject selected by the
candidates. The paper will consists of fifty (50) multiple choice questions. The candidates will have to answer all the questions.
Paper-III: Subject Paper (in depth questions):
This paper consists of multiple choice questions based on the syllabus of the subject selected by
the candidates. The paper will consist of seventy-five (75) multiple-choice questions. Paper-III
of all the subjects covers all the specializations of that subject in which SET is conducted. For
example Paper-III of Chemical Sciences covers all specializations such as Analytical Chemistry,
Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Marine Chemistry, Medicinal
Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, & Bio-inorganic Chemistry.
Important Notice: A candidate who does not appear for Paper-I and Paper-II will not be permitted for PaperIII. There will be No negative Marking in any paper. The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III. Only such candidates who obtain the minimum required marks in each paper, separately as mentioned above, will be considered for the final preparation of results.
