AP Forest Department Recruitment Range Officer, Beat Officer Jobs | 3,820 Posts to be filled in 3 years
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Government has given its financial nod for AP Forest Department Recruitment. This is to fill up at least 3,820 jobs, positions include Forest Range Officers, Section Officers, Beat Officers and Assistant Beat Officer posts in next three years. Principal Secretary D. Sambasiva Rao has issued orders, giving the finance department permission to go ahead with the recruitment process.
According to the government data, in the first round of AP Forest Department Recruitment program, department would fill up 1,274 posts in the current financial year. During 2014-15, there will be recruitment for 1,273 posts and for 2015-16 it will be 1,273 posts. AP Forest Department will host a direct recruitment process to fill up these vacancies.
Out of the total 3,820 vacancies notified for next three years, the break up will be as follows:
Forest Range Officer: 120 vacancies in three years, 40 each year.
Section Officer: 600 vacancies, 200 each year.
Beat Officer: 1600 vacancies, 534 first year and 533 posts for each for next 2 years.
Asst. Beat Officer: 1,500 total vacancies in three years, 500 posts will be filled each year.
After several violent incidents and attacks on forest officials, the state government has recognised the need to increase the work force in forest department and have taken up AP Forest Department Recruitment program.
