Hyderabad: Hyderabad based Sister Nivedita group of Schools signed an agreement with SmartLinx VOIP Networks Pvt. Ltd to test launch its Live Tutor, a remote interactive education program. The unique virtual learning technology platform, which will be implemented in the next academic year beginning June 2010 is set to encompassing 150 teachers and 5000 students. All the teachers were trained for the live tutor initiative. Under the agreement, Sister Niveditha Schools located in Ameerpet in Hyderabad, Karim Nagar and Lingampally will be connected through VVOIP based application Live Tutor Connect. This will enable the student to connect with the virtual classroom and can be interacted with the teachers in real-time. Live Tutor Virtual Learning Environment is a virtual class room service, equipped with audio and video infrastructure developed by SmartLinx. Teachers, academic experts, housewives with teaching aptitude can enroll with SmartLinx to join the teacher’s pool.
Once the test launch operations streamlined, SmartLinx is planning to launch one-to-one live tuitions, mass class rooms and coaching classes through its system. Company also plans to launch special classes in cookery, art, music, dance and yoga through Live Tutor concept.
