Hyderabad: When Steve Jobs unveiled Apple’s latest innovation IPad world received it with huge applause. Even though company faced some technical glitches in Apple IPhone-4, a touch screen wonder with ultra, IPad had fast catch in the market. Before IPad entering in to the Indian markets, Olive Technologies created competition by launching OlivePad VT100, with a killing price tag of around 25,000 rupees. It is expected to be half of the Apple IPad price.
What is big in Olive Pad is it was built on Android operating system. The other features of the this mini wonder is 3G ready, WiFi enabled, USB, inbuilt 3 megapixel camera and ofcourse a front camera like any other 3G phone would have. OlivePad allows users to use as a multi functional device and allows users to browse internet, use multimedia, instant messaging and a click away option to the world of social networking tools like facebook, orkut and twitter etc. Gaming console, e-book reader, TV, video calling are other features to watch.
Even though soft launch done, this little Indian wonder expected hit the retail market through Tata Group’s electronic retail chain Croma Stores. Those who are accustomed to the features like touch screen smart phones, this is going to be the coolest gadget.
