Hyderabad, October 25: Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited, the state government owned power utility has issued notification for the posts of Junior Plant Attendant. The plant attendants are required to meet the manpower shortage at various power plants run by APGENCO. The total numbers of vacancies are 1755. APGENCO earlier called for 1086 JPA posts and later issued a supplementary notification by adding 669 posts. The JPA posts are district wise and the selection will be based on written test, trade test and an interview.
Eligibility: The basic eligibility for JPA posts is 10th Class pass with Industrial Training Institute certificate in concerned branch, mostly electrical. Candidates should have an age below 18-35 years as on 01-10-2011.
APGENCO JPA Recruitment Online Application Procedure :
Candidates interested for APGENCO JPA jobs have to apply through online interface provided by CGG. There is provision to download online application, covering letter and a detailed notification for candidates use. One has to down load both and have to pay Rs.150/- as registration fee at any of the AP online centers. They will get a journal number
