Hyderabad, May 31: Here is an update on UoH Summer course on cyber security. HCU Summer Vacation Course on Computer Forensics notification has been released. School of Computer & Information Sciences at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) proposes a Summer Course on “Cyber Security and Computer Forensics” from 3rd to 15th June, 2013 on the university campus.
The objective of the course is to train ongoing students of BTech/MSc during summer vacation on foundational concepts of System Security, Network Security, Cryptography and Computer Forensics. The course will have more than 40 contact hours Including theory classes and lab sessions (more than to any semester-long course of 3 credits).
The course prepares participants from basic concepts to recent research trends and participant will also have an opportunity to develop skills through lab courses. Students of IIIrd year BTech in Computer Science and related areas are eligible to attend this programme
There will be a nominal participation fee of Rs 500 per participant.
