Open Minds Birla School | Hyderabad campus by DSR group launched

Hyderabad, June 8: Birla Edutech Ltd. a Yash Birla Group company today announced the opening of its fourth K-12 school – Open Minds Birla School in Hyderabad. The school has been built in association with DSR Educational Society, an educational arm of Hyderabad-based DSR Group. This is the third Open Minds school in India and the first in south India. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N Kiran Kumar Reddy inaugurated the school.

Open Minds Birla School curriculum draws on the best of practices in International and Indian curriculum and offers comprehensive solution for education, with NCERT National Curriculum Framework 2005 as the benchmark, the company said in a press release.

Open Minds Birla School offers comprehensive solution for education that envelopes the individual’s learning period right from the formative early years to the challenging university years.
The Open Minds school campus, developed at a cost of Rs 30 crore, with a total built-up area of 150,000 sq.ft, is spread over a sprawling 10 acres of land and is equipped with state of the art facilities such as spacious classrooms, modern computer, science and math laboratories along with sophisticated art, music and dance studios.
In its first academic year, Open Minds School will have classes from I to VI, with a teacher-pupil ratio of 1:30. The school aims to add classes VII to XII over the next two years.
Earlier, Birla Edutech launched Globe Tot’ers preschool in Hyderabad with DSR group and Open Minds Birla School is new one in K-12 category.
