No takers to the B.Pharma course in Andhra Pradesh, 11,066 seats left vacant

Hyderabad: Once considered as hot favorite course in Andhra Pradesh, B.Pharamcy is seems to be losing its sheen as there is no takers for the much taunted Pharma course. The advantage with B.Pharma is M.P.C students can also opt for it with an option to sit for bridge course. Private managements opened number of colleges in the state hoping that there may big demand in the future. But, out of 12,779 of total seats, just 1,713 seats were filled and a majority 11,066 was left vacant. Confusion in giving web options may also one reason for this kind of huge vacancies, an official know to the issue said. The B.P.C. Students may join at later stage of counseling in the vacant seats, he added.
