MBA Admissions 2011 | COME to conduct centralised student recruitment for 52 top Business Schools

Hyderabad, June 08th 2011: Consortium of Management Education (COME), a collaboration of 52 Business schools in India, has announced the commencement of its Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for member institutes. The group discussions and interviews for student selection will be conducted in Hyderabad on 14th and 15th June. Students have started to fill in the forms online through the website from

June 2 onwards without any hassles of long queues or tedious procedures. This is the firsttime that such an initiative has been taken by a group of management institutions.

CAP round involves Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted centrally by COME. GD-PI will be conducted at various locations namely: Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nasik, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Indore and Jaipur. Student who has given any of the tests namely: CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET /MHCET / any state level entrance test is also eligible for the process.

COME is a premier alliance where the 52 unaided private institutions unite to reach out to students in each part of the country and provide them a uniform platform to pursue further education. Historically, the member institutes have witnessed many students from

South India, especially from Hyderabad enrolling with them for various full-time management courses. COME not only makes the admission process easy for the student but also provides them with the best of the colleges which inculcate AICTE approved courses in their curriculum.

COME has a common admission procedure where the student can apply to COME institutes through their CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET / MHCET / respective state level CET scores. Student who does not have any scores is also eligible to apply. After applying to COME, the student has to appear for a Group discussion and personal interview round which will be held this year from 8/06/11 to 21/06/11 at Mumbai / Pune / Nagpur / Aurangabad / Nasik / Jalgaon / Kolhapur / Hyderabad / New Delhi / Bengaluru / Bhubaneswar / Indore / Jaipur. The CAP rounds of COME will be applicable for 25 of its member institutes. The Final Merit List will be displayed on June 23.
