JNTU Hyderabad B.Tech Exams postponed due to bandh on Monday 28th May | YS Jagan Arrest Impact | Several other exams too rescheduled | Hyderabad tense
Hyderabad, May 28: Annual exams scheduled to be held on Monday, 28th May 2012 has been postponed due to state band. YSR Congress Party has given a state wide bandh call, in protest of his party leader and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. CBI arrested Jagan in disproportionate assets case on late Sunday.
Fearing the violence, several academic institutions including JNTU Hyderabad has postponed exams. As per the reports, Andhra University, Sri Venkateshwara University has so far rescheduled it’s various exam dated for Monday.
