HCU professor Samar K. Das elected as a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences

Hyderabad: Prof. Samar K. Das, School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad has been elected a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences (F.A.Sc.), Bangalore. The Academy, founded in 1934, encourages scientists by awarding this fellowship for their significant contribution in the advancement of science.
Professor Das is elected for his contribution in the area of basic research of high quality in experimental materials based inorganic chemistry. Prof. Das has recently been awarded the Bronze medal by the Chemical Research Society of India.
