DSC 2012 Latest Updates | Upper Age Limit increased to 39 | Teacher Posts Eligibility in AP DSC 2012 | 20 per cent weight for APTET score | B.Com for Teacher Posts

Hyderabad, January 10: The Andhra Pradesh Government has given one more relaxation to the unemployed youth in the state for DSC 2012. This time, B.Ed., D.Ed degree holders, who were preparing for DSC 2012 will get 3 more years upper age limit relaxation. According to the new rule, upper age limit for writing DSC is now 39 against the 36 years earlier.

For candidates falls under various reservation categories will now have 44 years of age as upper limit. For physically handicapped, the new age limit is 49 years.

The state government also said DSC 2012 candidates will get 20 per cent weight for their APTET score and 80 per cent will be considered for DSC selection. For Physcial Education Teachers, APTET score is not the criteria and they have to write DSC for 100 marks.

DSC 2012 will be announced shortly for selection of teachers across the state in various categories including school assistants and government teacher posts.

The AP Government also given certain relaxations and flexibilities on academic eligibility side for DSC 2012, enabling the candidates having degrees like B.Com.

    my sister doing b.ed and she was done private degree from andhra university. His friends talking to him private candidates or not eligible for dsc. please clarify the same.

    Dear Srinivas,
    Your sister is eligible to write DSC 2012. Graduation from any recognised university is criteria. So, she can appear for DSC.
