Hyderabad, 29 June 2013: Osmania Univerisity is planning to release Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test – APSET 2013 Notification on 1st July 2013. As per the APSET 2013 convener Prof. B. Rajeshwar Reddy, APSET 2013 notification would be release on 1st July and online application forms will be available in website from 5th July 2013. The APSET 2013 would be conducted on 22nd September 2013.

APSET is an eligibility test for Lecturer jobs. After 13 years gap, APSET has been conducted for the fist time in July 2012.

University Grants Commission, New Delhi given accreditation to Osmania University to conduct APSET 2012 in 24 subjects. APSET committee may add some more subjects this year and may not conduct exam for some subjects in below given list. Journalism, Mass Communication would be added for this list.

Eligibility: Post Graduates are eligible to write this exam. Final year students also eligible to apply. For OC, BC candidates 55% marks in PG and for SC/ST/PH candidates should have 50% marks in PG. APSET exam will be like UGC NET exam.

APSET 2013 Important Dates:
Online Applicatiion forms available from: 5th July 2013
Last Date to apply through online: 26th July 2013 (last date is extended to 31st July 2013/ Last date again extended to 17th August 2013)

APSET 2013 date: 22nd September 2013
