Andhra Pradesh Government orders APPSC to appoint 1100 junior lecturer posts, 1154 teacher posts, plans to appoint 2,000 more junior lectures in future

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Government today ordered Andhra Pradesh Public Services Commission to issue notification to fill up 1100 junior lecturer posts and 1154 teacher posts in the state. The government also issued orders to initiate the process to appoint 2,000 more junior lecturer posts to meet the future requirements. APPCS will soon issue notification in this regard. There was a huge shortage of teaching staff in government run school in the state. The erstwhile then Chief Minister Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy announced filling up these posts, but due to his sudden demise, the process was stalled. However, the present Chief Minister Chief Minister K. Rosaiah reviewed the pending issues in education department asked the education minister M.V. Prasad to take up the issue.
