Hyderabad, January 18: As the last date for the submission of VRO, VRA job applications ended today, there are interesting facts coming out from CCLA, the authorized government department to conduct the recruitment.
As the state government given the 2 years upper age limit relaxations, more number of candidates got the eligibility for VRO, VRA posts. Subsequently, the state government has extended the application deadline and rescheduled the VRO, VRA recruitment test to 19th February 2012.
According to the officials at CCLA, the total number of applications for both VRO and VRA posts touched a record 11,56,061. Interestingly, at least 1.5 lakh candidates, with B.Tech as educational qualification have applied for VRO, VRA posts. Village Revenue Officer and Village Revenue Assistant, a small remote level posts in revenue department and Inter and 10th class are the basic eligibility for both VRO and VRA posts.
Guntur District with 1,05,840 applications stood on the top of the list and Kareemnagar stood second with 95,854 applications for VRO, VRA posts. Vizag stood last with just 5,603 applications. The state government has issued notification to fill up 1,172 VRO and 6,029 VRA posts across the state.
