Areas of specialization:
FPM students specialize in the following branches:
1. Economics & Social Science
2. Corporate strategy & policy
3. Finance & Control
4. Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management
5. Production & Operations Management
6. Information Systems
7. Quantitative Methods
8. Public Policy and Public System
Duration: General duration is 5 years but the institution expects the student to finish the program by 7 years.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have
1. A Masters degree in any discipline, (10+2+3+1 or 2 pattern) with atleast 55% marks.
2. A professional qualification like CS, ICWA with Atleast 55% marks
3. A 4 year Bachelor’s degree with atleast 60% marks
Selection:
Based on the information provided by the applicants, short listed candidates will be called to Bangalore for a research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Interview for final selection. Selection will be based on the CAT/GMAT/GATE/JRF/NET but will also be done without a test score also. Registration for the programe will be during the last week of June 2012.

· Creating a knowledge pool for students: This MOU will establish a Rich Internet Application (RIA) and Mobile Apps Development lab at Sathyabama University for students for a direct experience in the industry. Students will be also encouraged to visit the Virtusa campus for final year project execution.
· Faculty Orientation: Through this program, Virtusa will impart training to faculty members of Sathyabama University, while also sharing industry-oriented courseware and technical knowledge. This will allow them to be up-to-date on the latest developments in the IT sector and be instrumental in developing the course curriculum that is practical in nature.
· University Orientation: Virtusa will work closely with the education bodies/Universities to align the college curriculum with industry requirements and thus strengthen the relationship with Universities/Colleges.

Hyderabad, June 18: Sri Venkateswara University Tirupati today announced the results of Law Common Entrance Test – LAWCET 2011 for 3 year and 5-year LL.B/B.L courses and Post Graduate Law Common Entrance. The Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities emphasizes academic collaborations, joint research and student exchanges.

Each student has been offered a stipend of CAD $ 5000 to cover expenses toward travel and accommodation. The students will return to India in July 2011. The students are highly hopeful that this research internship will be of immense help to them.
