University of Freshology campaign meets target Indian youth

Hyderabad, May 4: Buoyant by the initial success of ‘First drink, then think, Sprite – University of Freshology’ add film, Coca Cola India now seems to go ahead with the aggressive media campaign for its soft drink Sprite. Sprite is now the number-2 soft drink in terms of business to Coca Cola India after Thums Up.
The Freshology campaign was designed by famous advertisement agency Ogilvy India’s Delhi branch. The new television commercials also launched in Pakistan.
According to branding publications, Coca Cola may launch more funny and youthful ideas under the FRESHOLOGY theme. The initial theme, which gives new ideas to impress girl friends, escape from flirts etc has attracted target audience.
The Sprite was launched in India in 1999 and had got a no-nonsense position as the drink has got reorganisation of thirst quencher. The brand managers changed the Sprite tag line twice 2004 and 2008 as part of brand re positioning efforts.
